I've been informed that I haven't posted since monday. Ooops.

Honestly, I've been doing a lot of job searching. It's like having a second job. R's been busy with problems at work. We're not a very interesting bunch.

You can always look at my "Travel Me" link to see some of the tips I've added for locations in Portugal. I'm hoping to add more this weekend. I really enjoy posting to Virtual Tourist. It's a really neat community.

where do you go?

Updates have been crap, I know. I haven't been doing them during the week because I'm miserable when I get home from work and I seem to be getting distracted on the weekend. Blah.
This weekend we hung out with Matt and Robin because Jen, matt's sister was down. Emily came over there too as well as Robin's sister and fam and we chowed down on some buffalo chicken chili. Yum!
Sunday we watched that horrible game (well, in all fairness it was a nailbiter until the crappy ending. Stupid way to win I think. Meh.) at Jeff and Amanda's, enjoying some sloppy Joes and possible the best damn apple pie I've had in awhile.
Today I watched a girl bike down Route 73 on her cell phone and though that was a pretty dangerous thing to do. I looked back in my rearview mirror only to see her wipe out in a ditch. Ooops!

Finally started to tear down some of the garden this morning as the frost put a hurting on a lot of plants. Oh well. It was a relatively short growing season this year, but our sort of ended when we went away. All the tomatillos started coming into fruit just before we left so we never got to use them. Oh well.

Once upon a time I was your little rooster

It was so cruel to have to return to work today. Fortunately it was a nice day but it didn't make me any less worn out tonight. Quite a good game last night! We did some simple tailgate foods, Shrimp Scampi Po' Boys with queso fresco and some basic nachos. It was a nice relaxing day and now its back to reality :(.

Blogger was ebing odd about updating pictures so here is where my text is going. We took over 400 pictures so we won't be uploading all of them to R's website. I've already uploaded all of them to my snapfish and will send out the links to anyone who wants them, but here are a few pics from our last day in the Algarve, Portugal. The cliffs are in Sagres and the night pictures are from our Cataplana dinner in Quarteira. R did make friends with a stray kitty that frequented the hotel bar. :)

Jet lag

I randomly picked a picture to post, and of course I picked a bad one. I'll post when I can keep my eyes open past 8pm. This is the view from our room in Lisbon.
